Application Manager, a capability of AWS Systems Manager, now supports additional features that help customers to easily manage their applications end-to-end, without switching consoles. With this release, IT professionals can edit application and resource tags, and invoke appropriate runbooks based on the application type, all within the Application Manager console.
With Application Manager, customers can discover and manage applications across multiple AWS services like AWS CloudFormation stacks, AWS Service Catalog App Registry, AWS Resource Groups, and AWS Launch Wizard. With this launch, customers can add, edit, and delete application or resource tags within the context of an application in the Application Manager console. Additionally, customers can now invoke appropriate runbooks based on the application or resource type.
This new feature is available in all AWS Regions where Systems Manager is offered (excluding AWS China Regions) and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions. For information about Application Manager, see our documentation. To learn more about AWS Systems Manager, visit our product page.
