The new Amazon DynamoDB console is now your default experience to help you manage data and resources more easily through simpler navigation and by providing you richer contextual information.

The new console navigation makes it simpler for you to access your table items directly from the navigation pane. You now can manage your items using the new dedicated Items page, and navigate back and forth to your tables’ settings. In addition, related information is now grouped on the same pages to simplify your work. The new simplified tabs architecture of the Tables page groups together all related features on the same tab. You also can check the health of all your DynamoDB resources, including DynamoDB tables and DynamoDB Accelerator (DAX) clusters, at a glance on the new Dashboard page. The new console also helps you perform tasks faster by providing you contextual information and step-by-step guidance. For example, the new console guides you through creating tables and DAX clusters on the new Create Table and Create Cluster pages. The detailed field descriptions, info links, and help panel provide you instructional content that answers your common questions, and assist you in making the best decisions for your needs.
