We’re excited to introduce a curriculum of three free, digital courses that help you accelerate your application development skills with Amazon DynamoDB, described below. Designed for new or experienced database developers and architects interested in learning how to develop applications with Amazon DynamoDB, these intermediate courses simulate a real application development project.
- The Exploring the DynamoDB API and the AWS SDKs course describes how to interact programmatically with DynamoDB tables and data stored within them.
- The Working with Indexes in DynamoDB course explains how to interact with DynamoDB tables using secondary indexes, create a Global Secondary Index (GSI), and optimize the GSI for efficiency.
- The Managing Capacity, Consistency, and Performance in DynamoDB course covers ways to enable adaptive capacity, differentiate between eventual consistency and strong consistency, and improve performance.
The courses take 90-150 minutes to complete and include scenario-based animations, reading modules, demonstrations, quizzes, and optional self-paced labs. The self-paced labs cost up to 15 USD per lab (this cost is not included with free digital training on aws.training). Enroll now.
